Humana Vitality Health Screenings

Worksite wellness programs are designed to inspire participants to make healthy choices and reach their personal goals.

Humana Vitality is the specific program provided to employees of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. It starts with employee health assessments. Screenings include body-mass index, glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure.

Employees are then provided a plan tailored for their health needs, giving them the information they need to take steps toward a healthier, happier lifestyles.

The benefits to employers are clear, too. Research shows workplace wellness programs can lead to reduced healthcare costs, reduced absenteeism, improved retention, increased productivity and improved morale.

For more information on worksite wellness programs, contact the Lincoln Trail District Health Department.
